We organise regular open meet-ups at bars and other events in Harrogate and Knaresborough, and across Yorkshire. We also host occasional one-off and pop-up events across the town.

Hosted by Harrogate’s own beer guru, Nichola Bottomley, join us for a warm winter evening in one of our cosiest local bars. Co-founder Rachel has her own beer blog Let’s Beer It For The Girls – a collaborative platform featuring the voices of women from across the North of England. Rachel is also Editor of and writer for The Harrogate Review, and is a guest writer for a range of publications as opportunities arise. Read her recent article for CAMRA’s What’s Brewing publication.
Rachel also contributed to a major BBC article on sexism in the beer industry.

LEEDS BEER WEEK 2017: On 3rd September we hosted ‘A Conversation on Women & Beer‘ at the very cool Northern Monk Refectory as part of Leeds Beer Week.
LEEDS BEER WEEK 2018: On 21st August we hosted a private mini tasting with live music at Slocken, Leeds.
BEARDLESS BEER WEEK 2017: The first ever Beardless Beer week took place 24-30 November at the Crown & Kettle in Manchester. The festival was presented in association with Women On Tap, which we are really chuffed about! On Monday 27 November we hosted another discussion panel at the Crown & Kettle as part of the festival.
In January 2018 Rachel was Local Champion for Harrogate and Knaresborough in the name of #Tryanuary – an initiative set up to encourage beer fans to support independent breweries, pubs, bars and other retailers during what can be a challenging month for the industry. For 2019 Rachel is part of the small national #Tryanuary First Responders team.
